Jessica Stam

The canadian Topmodel Jessica Stem, who was born on April 23 in 1986 in Kincardine, Ontario. After Stam was discovered in a coffee shop by Michèle Miller, an agent at the International Model Management agency in Barrie, Ontario, who found Stam on the way back from a theme park just outside Toronto. Back then Jessica Stam was already 16-year-old. After photographer Steven Meisel hired her for nearly every campaign of his, Stam became star. In 2002 Jessica Stam won the Los Angeles Model Look Search. It took her not long set off her career. She appeared on the cover of UK & German Vogue. Later, in the year 2004, Jessica Stam appeared in the short film Agent Orange. In 2006 Jessica Stem was the face/ testimonial of world famous brands like Armani, BCBG, Sonia Rykiel, and Rochas.
Her good friend and fashion designer Marc Jacobs created a handbag, which was inspired and named after Jessica Stem. It is calles “The Marc Jacobs Stam”. She also appeared in the 2006 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, in which she had her own featurette and opened a Theme entitled “Pink”. In January 2007 she ended up shaking the runway of this years Fashion Week in New York, a so called “first face”.
