The CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund was founded by the council of the fashion designers of america and the Voque magazine and annually awards up-and-coming designers to enable and encourage them to pursue their business plans. The CFDA was established to provide financial awards and business mentoring to emerging fashion designers.

The previous winners of the CFDA/ Voque award were Proenza Schouler and Trovata.

The 2006 finalists were Phillip Lim, Costello Tagliapietra, Devi Kroell, Doo.Ri, Jovovich-Hawk, Marchesa, Rag & Bone, Rodarte, Subversive Jewelry and Thakoon. Designerfashion.biz will keep you up to date. The winner is planned to be announced on November 16th 2006.
